We're excited to announce a new series of video tutorials on our YouTube channel. This time focusing on fire doors.
Whether you're new to setting up fire doors in the system or looking to sharpen your knowledge, these videos will walk you through the key topics step by step.

Video 1 - Frame Options - Link
We start with the frame — dynamic depth, material, extension linings, aluminium threshes, timber cills, door undercut variables, fire and smoke seals and lastly architrave options. All set within your own products. Here we can also set a fire rating and FoA rating.
Video 2 - Door Options - Link
All the possible customised options to configure your own doors – from the overall design and core to all the possible hardware options available in the market – correctly specified and priced – as well as positioned and drawn on the door.

Specify glass, gaskets, beads and liners as well as glazing bars if offered. Your aperture is cut to size in the correct position on the door and the glass is sized accordingly ready for purchase in 2 clicks. All details go to the custom manufacturing reports.

Whether you need to paint the door and the frame in different colours, butying finished doors or constructing your own by lipping and veneers, you can configure everything for sales and manufacture in a few clicks.

Learn how CalWin 8 handles field of application checks — how to define the fire compliance and how to check hardware (plus surface area) against that, check the size of the door blade latched or unlatched and check glass positioning within the door.
